Question:
I have a 2008 Chevy 2500HD Crew Cab short bed with factory camper wiring provision for in the bed trailer plug. What do I need to use that wiring and install a 7way connection in the bed. Thank you

The in-bed wiring that we have available for the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 is a T-style wiring harness that uses your factory tow package to add a 7-way socket in your truck bed while also retaining the use of the 7-way at your Silverado's bumper. The Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness, # 41157, plugs into the back of your 7-way at the bumper and also into your factory wiring and it provides 8 feet of cord to run the second 7-way connector to your truck bed.
I have attached an install video that you can check out.
