Question:

How can I tell which model Thule bike rack I have? Mine must be 12 or 15 years old, any user info that came with it is long gone, and I dont see any model number on it. The bike rack is a hitch-mounted model and I need the cradle straps for that bike rack. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I spoke with my contact at Thule and in order to try and determine exactly what model bike rack that you have, it would be best if you could provide us with a picture of the rack.

Two products that you may want to take a look at are Replacement Strap, # 852-3006-001, and Replacement Anti-Sway Cage, # 853-7758. Both of these pieces were used on hitch mounted bike racks so I would compare these to the ones currently on your bike rack.

If we still don't have a match, please send me a picture of the rack and we will continue to work on finding replacement straps for you.
