Question:
After I changed the alternator and the battery in my truck, the battery light keeps flashing in my dash, how so I turn it off or reset it? I have a 2001 chevy silverado, 2500 HD

Apparently with the 2001 and 2001 Chevy HD trucks this is a common problem that there isn't a known solution for. If your charging system and battery seem to be working properly I wouldn't worry about it.
Most auto parts stores can check your charging system, I would do that and see what they say. If everything checks out I would just keep driving the truck.
