Hi, I have a Bulldog electric trailer jack. Is there any maintenance that I should perform on it?

I checked out the instructions on a Bulldog Electric Jack, part # BD500188, we offer and in the maintenance section, they say that the jack is sealed and maintenance free. The instructions say to periodically check the mounting hardware for proper torque and tighten is necessary.
They do say that it is important to maintain the electrical system including the battery and charger and that all connections are free of rust and corrosion. They also mention that the jack needs to be properly grounded. The last note in the maintenance section states that you should not direct a high pressure spray at the jack.
