Can You Use Different Size Lippert Jack Pads on the Same RV?

Published 11/03/2026

Question:

I have a 2023 Keystone Montana with the 6-point hydraulic leveling system. The front landing gear feet are bigger than the four in the back. Can I use different size permanent jack pads on the same camper, or do they all need to match?

Hey Steve!

You can absolutely mix GrabPad sizes on the same RV! You just need to match each pad to the size of the existing leveling jack foot.

Lippert offers the GrabPads for 8"–9" feet in a 2-pack # LC485DV or 4-pack # LC685DV, and 10"–12" feet in a 2-pack # LC585DV or 4-pack # LC385DV.

For example, if your front feet measure 12" and the rear four measure 9", you can combine the 10"–12" 2-pack with the 8"–9" 4-pack.

All six pads stay attached during travel using spring-steel clamps, so you won't need to place them under the jacks at every campsite. Do you know the measurements of your front and rear jack feet?
