Breakaway Kit Recommendation for 2025 Big Tex 70CH

Question:

I have a 2025 big Tex 70ch trailer and I’m looking for a replacement emergency braking system for it . It has a defender 2 on it but it’s been sitting for a year and I didn’t know about keeping it on a tender when I first bought it im assuming I’m going to need a new unit one of the led indicators has a hole in it thx in advance

Hey William, welcome back! For a solid breakaway kit for your 2025 big Tex 70ch trailer I recommend the Curt # C52028. This includes a 5 amp hour battery and charger that's well made and at a good price as well. Seems like a newer trailer, how do you think the box got a hole in it.

@WilliamD The part # C52042 will definitely work for you. Basically all of these are universal so if you find one that looks like it's what you like it will for sure work.
