Question:

I ordered the wrong parts for the demo tow bar. I need the ones that go from the tow bar to the pins in on my car. Im not sure where these pins that I ordered and received would be used. I am thinking that because I have a demo tow bar and the base plate on my car is a blue ox, I need different pins. Can you help with this? Thank you.Jeanne

Sorry to hear the Replacement Demco Standard Pins with Quick Pins - Qty 2 # DM9523046 didn't fit your set up. I saw you ordered the Demco Excali-Bar III Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511013-BX (which fits Blue Ox base plates) back in 2021 and I'm actually a little surprised those pins didn't fit.

They do have a fairly small useable length though, so I think what you are going to want is the Replacement 1/2" Retaining Pins for Blue Ox Tow Bars # BX88219. These are technically Blue Ox and not Demco, but the 1/2" size for base plate/tow bar is pretty much standard and these are definitely longer, since they are for Blue Ox stuff.

What vehicle do you have the Blue Ox base plate installed on?
