Question:

Hi I purchased an etrailer electric jack for my 2011 Rockwood Ultra Lite 2604 travel trailer. Im looking to purchase a custom cover for the jack head, that will protect my electrical plug and chains. What name brand jack is similar in size and shape of the etrailer electric jack head? Thank you Rick

Hi Rick,

For your etrailer Electric A-frame Trailer Jack part # e55ZV, we have our own etrailer branded cover which is the etrailer Protective Cover for A-frame Jacks part # e27VV. It's made of a waterproof vinyl and has a drawstring to tighten it under the jack head. It's 10-1/2" wide x 13-3/4" tall so it'll fit most brands and types of electric A-frame jacks including our etrailer one.

I have been happy with my jack so far. It replaced the original jack on our 2023 Mini Lite, and it is a step up in size which I like. It runs well and is fairly quiet. I use the cover that came with it, but I also had a cover purchased from Amazon that covers my ProPride hitch. I don't know if etrailer carries a similar item.

@BobD Glad to hear the jack is working well for you! We do have our own brand of electric jack covers, one that's 10 1/2" x 13 3/4" part # e27VV and one that's 14 1/2" x 17 1/2" part # e59VV. They're gray and made of vinyl material, it's likely that's the one that came with your jack originally :)

I bought this electric jack to replace the original one that is inoperative. This electric jack is great simple to install and use. I would buy it again

I was a little disappointed that the head unit could not be opened. My old unit did open and I was able to disconnect the hot wire. The old unit also had an internal ground. The trailer unit required me to splice into the camper wire harness and arson drill a hole into the frame for the ground wire. Other then that it seems to work fine
