PopStep GapGuards with the kit part # PS53UR cover the open space between the treads on your RV entry steps, creating a more solid, closed-in feel instead of being able to see straight through each step. I really like this feature because it can make a big difference for pets that are nervous about open-backed stairs, while also helping keep feet, paws, and small items from slipping through the gaps.

PopStep recently redesigned the GapGuards to help keep them securely in place, even when the steps heat up in the sun. We actually had one of our employees try the PopStep covers and GapGuards with her dogs, who are usually scared of open steps, and they used the stairs! It was honestly really sweet to see, and it was a great example of how something that seems small can make a difference for pets that struggle with RV steps.
