Hey Jason, thanks for writing in. Yes, and that's one of the things I really like about the Timberline 1.0 Hydronic Heating System # TL898MR. It uses gasoline to provide both interior heat and hot water, so if you have a gas-powered motorhome, you can take advantage of the fuel you're already carrying instead of needing a separate propane supply. The system heats a glycol solution that circulates through heat exchangers to warm the RV and provide hot water for showers, dishes, and other everyday needs. It's a nice way to handle both jobs with one system, especially if you spend a lot of time camping off-grid.
Another nice feature is the electric backup, which lets you use shore power to help heat the system when you're staying at a campground. That saves gasoline, and you can use the gasoline burner when you need more heating power, especially during colder weather. Just keep in mind that electric heat has less heating capacity than the gasoline burner, so I wouldn't count on electric alone for those really cold camping trips.
Are you looking to replace the furnace and water heater in your current motorhome, or are you putting together a heating system for a new camper build?
