Hi Bob, for your 2-1/2" hitch Irecommend the etrailer Ball Mount part # e68TV.
It's designed to fit a 2-1/2" trailer hitch receiver and has a 10-1/2" ball mount length, giving you some extra reach. It also comes with a pre-torqued 2" hitch ball, which is a nice convenience since you won't have to worry about installing and torquing the ball yourself. It offers a 2" drop and is rated for up to 10,000 lbs of gross trailer weight and 1,000 lbs of tongue weight.
