Recommended Tonneau Cover and Compatible Crossbars for a 2026 Chevy Silverado EV

Hey Marc. I have a solution for you but there are no tonneau covers with T-tracks that will fit the 2026 Chevy Silverado EV with a mid gate. To add a set of crossbars and a compatible tonneau cover, I recommend the following parts:

Adarac M-Series Truck Bed Ladder Rack item # A43QS

Access Limited Edition Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover item # A68QS

The M-Series Truck Bed Ladder Rack item # A43QS is a super short ladder rack that sits only 12" above your Silverado's bed. It attaches to the stake pockets on the tops of your bed rails, which is why it is the only compatible option with your mid gate. The 1-1/2" square aluminum crossbars have a 250 lbs capacity each and include t-slot accessory rails built into their tops. They're also available in silver with item # A93QS.

The Access Roll-Up Tonneau Cover item # A68QS is also designed specifically for the Silverado EV's with a mid gate. It's got a UV-resistant vinyl cover that is weather resist in extreme cold and won't shrink or fade in hot weather. It attaches to the bed rails with included clamps and will sit only 1/2" above the bedsides. This locking cover also has a LED light to help you see things inside your bed.

Thanks - I put canoes, kayaks, and lumber on the rack - though with a pickup maybe not the lumber (I have a SUV now). That being said - I don't really want a soft top for security purposes. I am OK hard-bolting a rack like the Yakima Uphaul to the truck of t-tracks don't fit on the mid-gate options. And FWIW - I haven't gotten confirmation from the dealer that the car I"m buying has a midgate yet. Marc

@MarcS You're welcome! That makes sense. There's just not many options for the Silverado EV's so I wanted to give you the one I had. The Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack item # Y01151-58 would be the correct one. It bolts directly to the top of the bed rails.
