How Does Gustafson RV Ceiling Light Shade # 277-000495 Attach to Light Assembly

Question:

How does this globe attach to the light fixture? I need a new globe, but it attaches to the fixture using a long screw up thru the globe and into the fixture itself. The hole on the globe is very small, and the screw is held onto the globe by a nut.

Hey Larry, the Gustafson RV Ceiling Light Shade part # 277-000495 that you referenced fits a light like the part # 277-000469-499 which has a bracket that attaches to the bulb socket via a set screw that keeps it all together. To see what I mean check out the attached picture. Does your fixture look like the # 277-000495?
