Hey Ken, thanks for reaching out. The Provider ST235/80R16 Tire with Silver Vesper Dual Wheel # TA96FR weighs approximately 72 lbs. The tire by itself is about 36 lbs, while the wheel makes up the rest.

What trailer/RV will you be putting it on?

Thank you for the reply Jesse. This is for a spare on a 2022 Thor Quantum SE motorhome, w/ Ford E450 chassis. I'm looking at storing it underneath using the either the BAL Hide-A-Spare recessed mount or the Retract-A-Spare mount. I have 43" between rails and a nice recessed area behind the axle where it would fit. I would have to shorten either mount to fit but it does look like that can be accomplished. I currently have Hankook DynaPro 225/75R 16 tires on the vehicle and just recently had a blowout on the highway and had to replace the inner passenger side dually, thus the desire to look into a spare to avoid all the roadside charges of a new tire, etc. I may also just replace all of the tires with new ones and use the newly replaced tire as a spare, thus still needing a wheel for that. All depending on cost, of course. Do you have any other recommendations on tire/wheel combination or spare tire mountings underneath? Thanks.

@KenG Honestly, we don't carry an undermount spare tire carrier that will fit that rail spacing, so the two carriers you mentioned sound like solid options as long as you can make them fit. Also, the # TA96FR you mentioned is a great choice for a spare. That is our most cost-effective option for a tire/wheel combo in that size, so that's definitely what I recommend going with.
