Replacement for Dometic DuoTherm 630035.331 Air Conditioner

Updated 08/31/2026 | Published 08/25/2026

Question:

I’m looking for a replacement ac unit for my motorhome. It has the Duo Therm 630035.331. It says a replacement is the Advent Air ACDOM 135. I can only find a cool only. Mine has the heat pump also. It is the 6 wire. Do you have a replacement. Thank you for your time.

Hey Robby!

The Advent Air ACDOM135 was one one point a recommended replacement for your Dometic DuoTherm 630035.331, but it has since been discontinued. The closest option we carry that retains the heat-pump function is the Dylux RV AC w/ Heat Pump, Air Distribution Box, & Thermostat # DY87FR.

The # DY87FR is a complete 15,000-BTU system, so it will give you a little more cooling capacity than your original 13,500-BTU DuoTherm. It will not be a plug-and-play replacement for the existing Dometic components, though, which is why I recommend replacing the complete system rather than trying to match a new rooftop unit to the older controls.

Your original DuoTherm system uses R410A refrigerant, while current replacement systems like the # DY87FR use R32. Because the refrigerant, control system, and components are different, replacing the rooftop unit, air distribution box, and thermostat together ensures everything is compatible. You can still use the existing wiring in the motorhome to install the new system.

Is your current DuoTherm a ducted setup, or does the air come directly out of the ceiling assembly underneath the AC?
