Does The B&B RV Heat Vent w/ Rotating Grille BM62RR Have A Damper?

Looked online for a 4 1/8 heater grill for wall it needs to fit 2 hose and be able to damp air flow, add from u showed it meeting this criteria, but shows no damper at all????? please advise. thx

Hey Pat, thanks for reaching out. You are reading that correctly. The B&B Molders RV Heat Vent # BM62RR is the 2-inch duct version without a damper. It fits a 4-1/8-inch cutout and the face rotates 360 degrees so you can aim the airflow, but it does not let you reduce or shut off the airflow. The product photo is accurate in that regard. Similar B&B 2-inch ThermoVents are specifically listed as "without damper."

The catch is B&B's dampered vent is offered for a 4-inch duct connection, which also uses a 4-1/8-inch cutout but will not connect directly to your 2-inch hose. So if you specifically need a 4-1/8-inch opening, 2-inch duct connection, and an adjustable shutoff damper, I would not recommend # BM62RR for what you are trying to accomplish. I'm sorry to say we don't offer a vent in that size with a damper at this time.

What space are you trying to make comfortable with this vent?
