Hey Sean!
I measured the power cord of the Kat's Heaters Oil or Transmission Pan Heating Pad # KH24025 myself with a tape measure and came up with 57-3/4" from the end of the pad to the head of the plug. I didn't think to measure it, but with the plug included, I'd bet it's exactly 60". It is safe to use with a properly rated outdoor extension cord, so you don't need to be directly next to a plug to use it. How do you plan to use this heating pad? What vehicle is it going on?
