Yes, the Turn Button Assemblies # 37281595 will work well with 30 mil plastic. I actually grabbed one of these assemblies from our warehouse and tested it with a piece of 30 mil plastic to make sure, and it worked with no issues.

The important thing is to install the fastener through one layer of the 30 mil plastic at a time. I would not try to sandwich two layers of the plastic together in a single fastener. As long as each layer is attached separately, # 37281595 will be a good option for securing your plastic covers over the screen windows.

I take it the picture you attached is where you will be using them. What window an I looking out of, is this where you live, or a special getaway?
