I did some research and it looks like a 2005 Ford F-250 can weigh anywhere from 5,600 pounds (Regular Cab with the short bed and 5.4L Triton) to 6,600 pounds (Crew Cab with the long bed and 6.0L Power Stroke). This is also unmodified and completely empty. The etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e74ZR you have is only rated up to 6,000 pounds, so to be honest, I wouldn't feel completely comfortable using it to tow your F-250. With that said, I recommend grabbing the etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e94ZR. This is rated up to 10,500 pounds and comes with the ends that fit the Demco base plate # DM9517109. It will definitely handle the weight!
