Question:
I keep seeing a Kenda TurfSteel Honeycomb lattice spoke wheel assembly, the same concept as a Michelin Tweel - part KE83TJ. Is this a legit products you carry and if so, do you have any info about them? Thanks.

Hey Chris, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Kenda TurfSteel Honeycomb Wheel Assembly # KE83TJ is a legitimate product that we carry. It uses a non-pneumatic honeycomb design, similar in concept to the Michelin Tweel, so there is no air pressure to maintain and no risk of flats from punctures. It's a great option for equipment that spends a lot of time on rough ground or around thorns, nails, and other debris.
The tradeoff is ride quality. Since there is no air cushion, the TurfSteel rides firmer than a traditional pneumatic tire. The honeycomb structure provides some flex and shock absorption, but it is not as compliant as an air-filled tire. For applications like zero-turn mowers, utility equipment, and other off-road machines where flat prevention is more important than ride comfort, it's an excellent choice.
What mower will you be using it on?
