Smaller Diameter Replacement Awning Roller Tube

Question:

I have a question my in laws bought a awning replacement tube for a solar 12 volt awning the problem is have is the tube is to large in diameter for their awning the other problem is they bought is a few months ago looking I was wondering if you have the smaller tube in stock for the hybrid awning

Hey Scott,

Thanks for your question. I'd be happy to help, but I'll need a bit more information first. Solera has used several different 12V awning assemblies over the years, and the replacement roller tubes are different diameters depending on the model.

Could you reply with the following?

The part number from the existing roller tube.
The overall length of the roller tube (or the awning fabric size).
A photo of the awning and the label if it's still readable.

Once I have that information, I can determine whether we have the correct smaller-diameter roller tube for your hybrid awning.

@ScottH We carry two Solera replacement roller tubes for 18' awnings, the only difference is the color of the tube. They are # LC260560405 and # LC338512405. Both of these roller tubes are 3.5" in diameter. I would compare that to the diameter of the existing to tube to see if one of these will work. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any cross reference for the part number you provided.

@ChristopherH also the camper is fitted with the lippert system for the power awning don't know if that helps for the awning tube

@Scott I've been looking around quite a bit and can't locate a replacement roller tube for a 18' awning with a 2.5" diameter. I'm not sure how old the awning is but there may no longer be replacement parts for it.
