How to Take Optronics # CPL33C Dome Light Apart to Mount on Ceiling in Trailer
Updated 07/23/2014 | Published 07/21/2014 >
Question:
There were no instructions included in the sealed plastic bag. I have hooked up the power without any trouble, but cant figure out how to split the case in order to mount the light backing. The flat metal clip will come off, but it does not release the bezel. I dont want to overpower the plastic parts and break the unit. What is the mounting process? Thank you in advance for your help.

That's a good question! I pulled one of the lamps off the shelf in the warehouse, and fount that after you remove the metal clip you spoke of, you need to take a small screwdriver and gently pry at the clips where the metal clip fastened. I shot a brief video showing how this was done.
