Looking for Where to Find Replacement Key Number on RV Latch/Lock

Question:
I wanted to ask how would I find or know where to locate the key code so I can make new keys for my travel trailer because its fine just didnt get keys when I received it.

Hey Shannon, not every RV latch/lock does this but look on the interior side of the lock to see if a code is written (most likely it's not) but if you disassemble the latch you can usually find a sticker on the internal parts of it that will have a key number listed. Most of the popular brands will have this but not all so it's worth a check. If you can check and let me know what you find I can let you know what replacement key you'd need.

Ok I have to get ahold of my daughter it's her travel trailer and mention what you suggested to do. I will get back to you. Just don't know how long my daughter will do what was suggested. I will probably have to go do it myself and right now they are at a campground. I will try and get back this weekend or early next week . But I will get back to you either way it turns out .
