I have two recommendations for you depending on if you prefer a proportional brake controller or a time-delayed brake controller. The Curt TriFlex NEXT Trailer Brake Controller part # C55MV is a proportional brake controller, so it will apply the brakes to your trailer with the same pressure and at the same time as you hit the brakes on your truck for smoother stopping. The TriFlex NEXT also only works with electric trailer brakes. The Curt Discovery NEXT Trailer Brake Controller part # C59GV is a time-delayed brake controller, so if you're towing with multiple trailers, you may prefer this because you can adjust the gain to dial in how hard and how fast your trailer brakes engage and it works with electric and electric-over-hydraulic brake set ups.

Both brake controllers have the same dimensions of 3 1/8" wide x 4" long x 1" tall and will fit perfecting into your truck's integrated brake controller spot in the dash. From some research, the brake controller space in the dash of your 2005 F350 is 4 1/2" wide x 2" tall and says its several inches deep. Both controllers come with a plug in brake controller adapter harness that will plug straight into the truck's factory brake control port and work with up to 4 axles at a time.

When you say you don't have the wiring for the integrated brake controller, do you only have a 4-way flat on your truck? Or do you have a 7-way? If you don't have a 7-way you can use the universal trailer brake controller kit part # ETBC7 that you can plug your 4-way into and then run the necessary wiring to connect the brake and power wire back to the 7-way.
