Can this be installed on a door with hinges on the right side?

Hi Jim,
The Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit - Chrome part # 295-000002 can be installed on doors with left-hand or right-hand side hinges. You can turn the latch kit upside down to have the handle facing the proper way to open the door depending on what side the hinge is on. The cutout to install it needs to be between 2 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" tall to 3" wide x 4" tall for doors that are 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" thick. If you need more than one latch kit you can order it "keyed alike" so that all the locks will have the same key number to open them.

Jim, I installed the kit on a right side hinged trailer door with no issues. It was a direct replacement and took 15 minutes to install as others have stated.

Jim, I installed this lock on a right hinged door with no issues whatsoever. It was a direct replacement for my old lock so it only took about 10 minutes to install. It’s been on for about 2-3 years now. No problems at all.
