Can I use this roof rack while going through the car wash

You sure can Donna and congrats on the new SUV! The Thule WingBar Edge Roof Rack for Flush Rails item # TH86FG will have no issues going through a carwash. Especially now since car washes have all gone touchless. The crossbars will securely attach to the factory rails on top of your new Suburban with the included clamps so the high pressure water won't phase them.
The only concern I would have with taking the Thule item # TH86FG through a carwash is clearance. They stick up 3-1/2" above your rails. With you having a tall Suburban already you'll want to pay attention to that like you would going into a parking garage.
