Question:
I have a 2023 International CV crew cab 4wd. It has no give. Considering the air bags/compressor. Are there bags for the front axle as well, will it soften the ride up with just rear? Agricultural use daily and hauling loaded gooseneck on jobs.

Hey Billy, thanks for reaching out. You’re right on track looking at air bags for that CV, especially with the kind of daily ag use and loaded gooseneck hauling you’re doing. For your 2023 International CV crew cab 4WD, there aren’t air bag options for the front axle, but we can add front jounce springs if you ever feel like the front needs a little more control. The bigger gain for what you’re describing is definitely in the rear.
For the rear, I’d go with the Pacbrake Alpha XD Pro kit # PB48XV along with the Pacbrake in-cab control kit # PB46ZV. That setup is ideal for your application because it’s built for constant load changes and heavier work. The Alpha XD Pro bags use heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant components and internal jounce bumpers, so even if you’re running low air pressure unloaded, you’re not getting that harsh bottom-out feel. When you hook up your gooseneck, you can dial the pressure up from the cab and immediately level the truck, which helps bring your headlights back down, improves braking and steering feel, and takes strain off your factory suspension. It also cuts down on bounce and porpoising on rough farm roads or job sites, which is a big deal for control and comfort over time. This setup basically gives you a tunable rear suspension that adapts to whether you’re empty or fully loaded, without sacrificing durability for daily work use.
What your usual gooseneck weight? Do you use this truck as a daily driver, or just for work?

Primarily work due to stiffness. We will load tractor/equipment, hay, planters, grass sprigs. If I can be safely hauled, we will load it. Of course with loads, ride is smoother. With no trailer, only a smooth highway will give a good ride.
