I'd be happy to Hubert. The EcoHitch item # EH83KR is indeed compatible with the TDI models of the 2013 VW Golf GTI. This class III hitch has a 2" receiver with a 300 lbs tongue weight capacity so it's going to work great with your Kuat Piston Pro bike rack.
