Hey Jim, yes you can!

Performance Tools actually lists brake fluid as one of the fluid types the Performance Tool Extraction and Fill Pump # PTW54173 is designed for. This would help suck the fluid out of the reservoir. You'll still want to pump fluid out of the bleeder screw/valve and bleed brakes there to get all the fluid out if that's your end goal.

Let me know if you need anything else! I've linked an article below that covers bleeding trailer brakes in case you need some more info. What kind of trailer and brake system is this being used on?

Andrew thanks for the response. This is for a boat trailer with disc brakes. I know the extraction tool will suck the fluid out of the reservoir but can it be used to suck the fluid out of the brake lines at the bleeder screw / valve aka brake flush? It seems like a viable option without the need of a compressor or pump (something I don't have) what are your thoughts would this work? Thanks, Jim

@Jim Technically that tool is good for pulling fluid out, but not really for bleeding at the bleeder screw. But we do have a tool specifically for the brake fluid bleeding process which is Powerbuilt Brake Bleeder - Master Kit # ALL648591. This threads onto the brake bleeder valve and allows you to bleed fluid there.
