Will Curt Grip Step Interfere With 2024 Ram ProMaster 1500 Sensors

Does this step interfere with the backup sensors in the bumper of the 2024 ram promaster 1500?

Hey Kathy! It is hard to say if the Curt Grip Step # C25KR will interfere with the sensors without testing it. It looks like they updated the sensors and they started detecting steps like these at some point. However, I'm not sure if that happened on the 2024 or 2025 models.
Other ProMaster owners have adjusted the sensors to make sure they aren't angled down toward the steps since factory placement in the bumper isn't always perfect. You can also relocate the sensors or disable them. If it picks up this hitch with a decent drop to it I would expect it to pick up any hitch mounted step.
Is this for work or do you have a camper van?
