2008 Toyota Tacoma, driving in wet condition rear end lost traction on freeway. Can I put 2thick ceramic tiles side by side UNDER the rubber mat?. trying to avoid sand bags

Hi Gary; yes, you can add ceramic tiles under the Westin Custom Fit Truck Bed Mat # 50-6215. Keep in mind, your mat won't be sitting level with the tiles underneath it.

Fit my 2022 tacoma very well and have held up under hauling lots of different things ...even gravel. as for added weight, I do add totes with sand in them in the winter which has worked out very well, although it takes up space.
