Question:
Hello I need some help. I was told a 7 way RV TRAILER pigtail was wired up diff then a plain 7 way plug for a flatbed tractor trailer. I need a 7-8 foot plain trailer 7 way pigtail. Thanks for any help

Hey Steve, this is a pretty common misconception but the RV style and traditional style of 7-ways are wired up by function the exact same with the difference just being the wire colors that are used. So by function they are exact same but you just might see different colors.
So the part # BA74CR that you referenced would work either way.

Hey Steve, how did things go with the Bargman 7-way pigtail you were looking at? Did it end up working the way you needed for your trailer? Your update could make it easier for the next person sorting out wiring differences.
