The Kat's Heaters Engine Oil Dipstick Heater # KH15200 does indeed need to be removed after your oil is heated up. If you are wanting something that would stay installed, you will need to go a different way.
We do have a bunch of potential options for that, but I will need to know the year, make, and model of your vehicle. The engine size will also be helpful.
