Hey Jeanette!
You'll need to plug them in for a bit to let them warm up before you put the meals in to keep them warm. The Ivation Portable Electric Cooler & Warmer # SAR37GR takes between 1-2 hours to reach 130°F from room temperature. So, if you're working with colder temperatures, then add another hour and make sure the lids are sealed tightly when closed.
That's a lot of meals! What's the occasion?

Hey Jeanette, how did things go with the Ivation cooler once you preheated it before adding the meals? Did it end up keeping everything warm for the full hour and fifteen minutes? Your results could really help others planning for large meal events.
