Question:
Does unplugging these connectors affect the battery wiring, or does everything stay configured the same? My battery is 12v. might go with dual 12v though.

Dustin, everything stays configured the same - that’s one of the big advantages here. Your batteries remain wired correctly whether you’re running a 12V, 24V, or 36V setup. You’re just disconnecting the plug between the battery bank and the load or charger, not changing the wiring itself.
The connectors are keyed, so they only plug in one way. That means no guesswork when reconnecting and no concern about shorting anything. I really like this setup because you’re not redoing wiring every time you disconnect something, which is especially helpful on 24V and 36V systems where there are multiple jumpers involved.
One thing that’s important to clarify is how your batteries are wired. If you’re planning to run two 12V batteries in parallel, that keeps the system at 12V and just increases capacity - in that case, you’d want a single-battery-style setup like the # CE66RR. The # CE58RR is for two 12V batteries wired in series, which creates a true 24V system.
What voltage are you planning to run long-term? Once that’s clear, it’s easy to lock in the right kit, and I’m happy to walk through it with you.
