Quick Disconnect For Portable Solar Panel On Classic Vehicle Battery

Question:
I’ve got an older vehicle that sits a lot, and I use a solar trickle charger. Is there a cleaner option than clamping it on every time?

Matt, absolutely. I run a solar trickle charger on an older truck myself (1964 C10), and relying on alligator clamps always felt like a temporary solution.
Using a kit like the Connect-Ease # CE66RR lets you make a solid connection once, then just plug the solar charger in when needed. No messing with clamps, no guessing if it’s still connected. I actually might get one for my truck now that we're talking about it.
Is this something you leave hooked up long-term or just during storage?

I usually only hook the solar charger up when it’s parked for a few weeks at a time.
