Upgrading Alligator Clips To A Quick Connect Plug To Charge Batteries

Question:
I use portable chargers with alligator clamps on my batteries, but I don’t love this non-permanent way. also they can slip off or have bad connections. Is there a better option?

Brian, I’m with you on that. I deal with this personally on some golf carts I manage, bouncing between onboard chargers, portable chargers, and even solar units with clamps. It works, but it’s not clean or as easy as a quick connect setup.
A Connect-Ease quick-disconnect, like the # CE66RR, gives you a solid connection point so you can plug a charger in without relying on clamps staying put. Once it’s installed, charging becomes quick and repeatable instead of fiddly.
Are yours all 12V batteries, or do you have other battery setups? Depending on what you have, there may be a more suitable quick connect kit other than this one mentioned above.
