Thanks for the information Matthew. The Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack for Naked Roofs item # RR37GR will not fit your 2014 Subaru Impreza Premium 5 Dr. Wagon, however I have another other option that will.
For a comparable style roof rack where the crossbars don't overhang the mounting legs, I recommend the Yakima SkyLine FX Roof Rack for Fixed Mount Points item # Y37SD. This roof rack has a 165 lbs capacity and includes two 41-1/2" long x 5" wide x 3-1/2" tall crossbars. The included mounting legs and pads will attach to predrilled attachment points on top of your Subaru's roof.
What do you plan on mounting to your new roof rack?

I was looking for something that looks flushed to the roof and in the price point of $500. If I get a cargo basket or stream line case, will it sit entirely on top of the crossbars? I’d figured that a system that utilized a channel connection would allow the mounting of a basket to sit a little lower. Just saying.
