Question:
Can I trim the PF79VR uprights to make the rack sit lower on my flat-roof Look trailer? It’s sitting a little taller than I expected.

Mauro - the P&F Ladder Rack for enclosed trailer roof # PF79VR isn’t designed to be trimmed, especially not at the base. The bottom 6 inch × 2 inch mounting bracket shouldn't be cut, since that’s the structural contact point with your trailer’s rail. If you had to do so, you'd be on your own for a DIY situation.
If you were talking about trimming the top section, I guess you could do that at your own discretion, but it's still not recommended by P&F or us at etrailer. What exactly was your goal? To fit into a garage?
