Where Will King Pin Sit Over Axle on 2019 Ford F-350 Using Reese M5 5th Wheel Hitch
Updated 12/29/2025 | Published 11/30/2025 >
Question:
Where does the pin ride over the axle? As an example the BandW can be either 1” or 3” in front of the axle. For the Reese 30922 is it 1” in front of the axle? I have a 2019 F350 with factory puck system. Thank you

Hey Don! The position of the king pin will sit 1" forward from the rear axle when using the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30922 on your 2019 Ford F-350.
Is there a specific reason you're looking for this number? Any of the hitches designed to fit your prep package will work regardless of the exact positioning.
