Lots of information here except the true dimensions. Just how wide is the opening where it attaches to the vehicle?

The Kelty Highroads Shelter # KE34EV is a universal attachment style shelter. Meaning it fits almost all SUV's, CUV's, vans and 4 x 4's. Since it is universal the attachment width is adjustable depending on your vehicle application. For that reason there is not an exact width dimension for where it attaches to the vehicle since it will be specific to your make and model.
