Recommended Tool Box and Tonneau Cover for a 2025 Nissan Pro 4X Crew Cab w/a 5' Bed

Hello I have a 2025 Nissan Pro 4X crewcab short bed and I wanted to know if the UWS under tonneau toolchest will fix in my truckbed? Also would I be able to use a retrax one XR with it or would I need another cover? Thank you.

Hey Chris. It looks like your 2025 Nissan Pro 4X Crew Cab's 5' long bed measures 59.5" long x 44.4" wide x 18" tall. The UWS Secure Lock Truck Bed Chest item # UWS08297 measures 48" long x 16-1/2" tall x 24-1/2" deep so it should fit. You'll want to measure from the front of the bed to the closest portion of your wheel well to make sure you have at least 24-1/4" of space.
You will not be able to use a RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover like item # RTX68QR or item # RTX98QR because of the space the canister takes up at the front of your truck bed. The item # UWS08297 is only 4" shorter at the front/back side of it and part of it will slide underneath the lip of your bed.
With that short of a bed, your options are extremely limited when installing a tool box. You'll need to use a roll up cover like the TruXedo Sentry CT Hard Tonneau Cover item # TX43NV.
How far is it from the front of your bed to closest part of your wheel well?

Hey Chris, were you able to measure the distance from the front of your bed to the wheel well on your Pro 4X? Knowing that would confirm if the UWS tool chest fits like expected. Your update could really help others with short-bed setups too.
