Question:

Are there grease points on the fifth wheel head? I don’t see any?

Hello Mark, thanks for reaching out. I am also not seeing the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30047 has any built in grease fittings. You would just want to use a lube plate like part # 16721 or grease on the surface of the hitch head. You can also use engine oil to lubricate any pivot points or moving parts.

How are you liking your Reese hitch so far? Have you towed with it yet?

Thanks for the reply. We leave on our first trip with this fifth wheel on November 31. I have not towed with this one yet. I am confident it will be fine. We previously had a B and W slider, but it didn’t work with the puck system in our new truck. Thanks again for your help.
