Chris, Didn't have time to reply earlier. If you look at the 2016 video and your enclosed picture for marking removing on curbside you can see looking at frame, that the cutout will have the base plates in the rounded portion of frame. I did this and when I went to roadside the baseplate couldn't be leveled. Going to time 20:16 in the mounting video for 2016 KIA, if you cut parallel to and immediately below the plastic tab the basplate aligns level right/left up/down on both sides. Your nuts will set flat on the inside of the frame making mating bolt to nut easier. If your accompanied paper install was as clear as the on you attached then the install would be faultless. Thanks for the rapid response.
