Heavy Duty Pintle Hitch That Has Adjustable Height For 3" Receiver Pulling Horse Stock Trailer
Published 10/02/2025 >
Question:
I’ve got a 3-horse stock trailer I sometimes pull with a pintle adapter. Would the WS89WR be rated high enough? My Ford F350 has a 3" receiver

Hey Terry, the Weigh Safe pintle hitch # WS89WR is rated for 22,000 lbs GTW and 2,200 lbs tongue weight, so it’s plenty strong for a heavy stock trailer with a pintle adapter. And with adjustable drop, up to 8 inches, it's great for keeping taller trailers level behind a heavy duty or lifted truck.
Do you mostly use the trailer for livestock, or do you also haul hay and equipment with it?
