TS Rails for a 2024 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

TS Rails for TruXedo Elevate Rack System Hello, I am interested in the TS Rails for a 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Offroad Double Cab with Short Bed. I am not sure what size to choose. When I enter my trucks data it brings a 56 Inch Version. And it looks like the other closest size is 63 inches. The Tacomas bed is closest to 60 Inches. Again, I am not sure what to choose.

Hi David, thanks for reaching out!

I was able to get ahold of my contact at TruXedo and found that the 52" Replacement Elevate TS Rails # TX99ZJ are what you need for your 2024 Toyota Tacoma.

He did say that this is specifically designed to work with the Lo Pro tonneau cover, so if you have something else let me know and I can see if we have an alternative solution for you.

What are you planning on using the TS Rails for?

I have the BAKFLIP MX4 Tonneau Cover. I figure if I have T-Slots then I could also have the Real Truck Elevate Rack for a temporary and less expensive solution for a Rooftop tent. Does 52 inches refer to the overall length of the entire rail or only to a specific part within the Elevate TS Rails? Again, the Tacoma Shortbed is closest to 60 inches.

@DavidR I think that's the overall length of the rails. Since you have the BAKFlip MX4 (which is a great cover, by the way) it won't be compatible with TS Rails. For a cover that uses T-Slots in the side rails we have the Pace Edwards UltraGroove Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-KRTA10A38 as an alternative, but I doubt you're wanting to replace your cover. I took a look at the ladder racks we have to see if any of them will work with your tonneau cover, but I'm not seeing that's the case there either.
