How Does BrandMotion Commercial Vehicle Parking Sensor System Work?

Question:
Do these start beeping right away when I put the car in reverse, or only when they detect something?

Linda, when powered from your vehicle's reverse circuit, you’ll hear a quick double-beep to let you know the system is on. After that, it’s silent until an object is within about 5 feet, then the beeps increase as you get closer. When taken out of reverse, the system is disarmed.
This commercial vehicle parking sensor kit # BM39FR is perfect for work trucks, work vans, shuttle buses, motorhomes and RVs, and more.
I've attached a demo video where my friend Andy shows you how the system works.
