Jen, everything you need is in the box. You’ll get both running boards, custom-fit brackets, stainless hardware, and instructions. No separate purchase or universal kits to worry about. You also don't need to do any drilling which is nice.

I see you were looking at the Romik RB2-T Running Boards w/ Custom Install Kit 6" Wide # RMK69ER and Silver # RMK49ER. These fit 2020-2026 Silverado and Sierras with the Crew Cab (full four door).

@Jen Great question, Jen, and honestly, a lot of folks do this one at home with basic tools. Since the Romik RB2-T boards come with a custom-fit bracket kit and use factory mounting points, there’s no drilling or fabrication involved. You’ll need a socket set, a torque wrench, and ideally a second set of hands to help hold the boards in place while you bolt them up. If you’re comfortable doing basic bolt-on upgrades (like a skid plate or even changing your own oil), this job's right in that same ballpark. Most people knock it out in about an hour or two in the driveway. But if you’d rather have it done for you, any local shop or mobile mechanic could handle it easily as it’s very straightforward.
