Which Nerf Bar Running Boards Are Best For Lifted Ford F350 On 35" Tires?

Updated 08/15/2025 | Published 07/29/2025

Question:

Can I mount these on a lifted F-350 or F250? looking at a few trucks, I'll be adding 3” suspension lift and 35s.

You’re in good company, Blake. We’ve had plenty of folks run running boards on lifted trucks; they mount to the rocker panel so the suspension height doesn’t affect fitment.

But that lift does raise your floor height, so I'd go with the Romiks since they are known for having adjustable brackets so you can choose how much the boards drop or rise.

Since you're looking at a crew cab, I'd go with either the Romik silver bars # RMK62WR or black bars # RMK72WR, which fit 2017-2026 F250 and F350 crew cab trucks. These are 6" wide aluminum steps that have powder coated brackets, so you won't have to worry about any harsh elements in your area.

Do you have pic of your truck? It sounds really neat.

Hey Blake, did you decide to go with the Romik running boards for your lifted truck? I’d love to know how they worked out for you, especially with the adjustable brackets. I'm curious because it could really help others looking to customize their trucks too!
