Trailer Hydrualic Drum Brake Actuator That Won't Slam Brakes On When Backing Trailer Into Barn

Question:
I need an actuator that won’t slam the brakes when I back the trailer back into my barn. Will this one do that?

Yes, Shane! The DA86 Demco Drum Brake Actuator # DM78CV comes with a reverse lockout solenoid and a manual lockout tab, so you’re covered no matter what. Whether your trailer’s wires are easy to tap into, or you just want to manually pin it, you’ll be able to back up without your brakes locking up.
What do you currently have? There's a chance you can buy a lock out kit for it instead of replacing the actuator.
